ગુજરાતીની ચિંતા...

કયાંક એવું તો નહી બને ને કે
વીસ પચ્ચીસ વરસ પછી
આપણે માતૃભાષા ગુજરાતી
બચાવવાની ચર્ચા પણ
અંગ્રેજીમાં કરવી પડશે,,,?

કમ્પ્યુટરના કાળઝાળ યુગમાં
કકાનો સ્વાદ સુકકો
થાતો જાય છે, બારખડી
રીતસર પોતાના અસ્તિત્વને
ટકાવવા માટે લડી રહી છે.

કલમનો *‘ક’*
ખરેખર ઘાયલ થઇ ગયો છે
કોઇ તો મલમ ચોપડો,,

ટપાલ લખશે હજુ,,,?

બોર ખાતી આખી પેઢીને

અપહરણ કરી ગ્યુ છે.

લઇ રહ્યો છે.

જોઇને મોજથી નહી પણ

થઇ ગયો છે ને મોબાઇલના

ગાયને ગાયનો *‘ય’* બંને
બિચારા થઇને કત્તલખાને
રોજ કપાયા કરે છે.

રમતનો *‘ર’* તો સિમેન્ટના
જંગલો જેવા શહેરોની સાંકડી
ગલીઓમાં અને ઉંચા ઉંચા
ફલેટની સીડીઓ ઉતરતાં-
ઉતરતાં જ ગુજરી ગયો છે.,,

*લ*–
લખોટીનો *‘લ’* તો ભેદી રીતે
ગુમ છે, કોઇને મળે તો કહેજો.,,

વહાણના *‘વ’* એ તો કદાચ
હાજી કાસમની વીજળી સાથે જ
જળ સમાધિ લઇ લીધી છે.

સગડીનો *‘સ’*માં કોલસા
ખૂટી જવાની અણી માથે છે.,,

એટલે જ કદાચ શકોરાના
*‘શ’*ને નવી પેઢી પાસે
માતૃભાષા બચાવવાની
ભીખ માંગવા નોબત આવી છે.

ફાડીયા *‘ષ’*એ તો ભાષાવાદ,
કોમવાદ અ પ્રદેશવાદના
દ્રશ્યો જોઇને છાનો મૂનો
આપઘાત કરી લીધો છે.,,

હળનો *‘હ’* તો વેચાય ગ્યો છે
અને એની જમીન ઉપર
મોટા મોટા મોંઘા
મોલ ખડકાય ગ્યા છે.,,

પહેલા એમ લાગતું હતું કે
એક *‘ળ’*જ કોઇનો નથી.
પરંતુ હવે એમ લાગે છે કે
જાણે આખી બારખડી જ
અનાથ થઇ ગઇ છે.,,

ક્ષાત્રત્વની જેમ માતૃભાષાના
રખોપા કરવાનો જ્ઞાનયજ્ઞ
કયા ચોઘડીયે
શરૂ કરીશું આપણે સૌ ,,,?

       
સ્કર્ટ મીડી પહેરેલી
અંગ્રેજી માસીએ ઘર
પચાવી પાડયું છે. અને
સાડી પહેરેલી ગુજરાતી *મા*
ની આંખ્યુ રાતી છે.

પોતાના જ ફળિયામાં
ઓરમાન થઇને ગુજરાતી *મા*
કણસતા હૈયે રાહ જોવે છે
કોઇ દિવ્ય ૧૦૮ ના ઇંતજારમાં..!

આવો ઘાયલ થઇ ગયેલી
ગુજરાતીને ફરી સજીવન કરીએ,
બેઠી કરીએ, પ્રેમથી પોંખીએ.

ગુજરાતી બોલીએ,
ગુજરાતી વાંચીએ,
નવી પેઢીને ગુજરાતીમાં
ભણાવીએ અને એક સાચા
ગુજરાતી તરીકે જીવીએ....

પસંદગીનું ક્ષેત્ર....

*તમારા સંતાનને ક્યા ક્ષેત્રમાં એડમીશન અપાવશો ?*

એક ગામમાં એવી પરંપરા હતી કે ગામમાં કોઇ નવો માણસ રહેવા માટે આવે તો ગામના બધા લોકો આ નવા નાગરીકને મળવા માટે જાય. મળવા જતી વખતે ગામના આ નવા નાગરીક માટે પોતાની ક્ષમતા પ્રમાણે કંઇ ને કંઇ ભેટ લઇને જાય. નવી રહેવા આવેલી વ્યક્તિ સાથે થોડી વાતો કરે અને વિદાય થતી વખતે એમના માટે લાવેલી ભેટ આપે. આમ કરવાથી નવી વ્યતિને આ ગામ પોતિકુ લાગે. બીજા કોઇ ગામમાંથી બે ભાઇઓ આ ગામમાં નવા રહેવા માટે આવ્યા. ગામના બધા જ લોકો પરંપરા પ્રમાણે આ બંને ભાઇના પરિવારને પોતાની ક્ષમતા પ્રમાણેની ભેટ લઇને મળવા જઇ રહ્યા હતા.

ગામમાં જ રહેતો એક કુંભાર આ બંને ભાઇઓને મળવા માટે આવ્યો ત્યારે એમના માટે માટીમાથી બનાવેલી સરસ મજાની બે ઢીંગલીઓ બનાવીને ભેટ આપવા માટે લઇ આવ્યો. બંને ભાઇઓને એક એક ઢીંગલી આપી અને પછી કહ્યુ, “આ માટી માંથી બનાવેલી ઢીંગલી છે હું હજુ એને પકવી શક્યો નથી. આ ઢીંગલી અત્યારે બહુ નાજુક છે પણ એ પાકી જશે તો મજબુત બનશે એને મજબુત બનાવવાનું કામ હવે તમારુ છે. તમે આ ઢીંગલીને તાપમાં બરોબરની તપાવજો એટલે એ મજબુત બનશે.

આ જ ગામમાં રહેનારો એક સુથાર પણ ગામના નવા રહેવાશીઓને મળવા માટે આવ્યો. સુથાર બંને ભાઇઓને ભેટ આપવા માટે લાકડાની બનાવેલી બે ઢીંગલી લાવ્યો. બંને ભાઇઓને એક એક ઢીંગલી આપી. ઢીંગલી તો બહુ જ સરસ હતી એટલે એક ભાઇએ આ ઢાંગલીના ખુબ વખાણ કર્યા. સુથારે કહ્યુ, “ આ ઢીંગલી અત્યારે સારી દેખાય છે પણ જો તમે એને યોગ્ય રીતે મજબુત નહી કરો તો જે ઢીંગલી અત્યારે તમને બહુ ગમે છે તે જોવી પણ નહી ગમે. અત્યારે આ કાચા લાકડામાંથી બનાવી છે જો તમારે એને મજબુત બનાવવી હોય તો એને પાણીમાં પલાળજો. લાકડાની ઢીંગલી છે એટલે પાણીમાં પલળીને મજબુત થશે અને જેવી અત્યારે દેખાય છે એના કરતા પણ વધુ સારી લાગશે.”

ગામના બધા લોકો વિદાય થયા એટલે બંને ભાઇ હવે પોતાનું ઘર ગોઠવવાના કામમાં લાગી ગયા. પેલી ઢીંગલીઓને પણ ગોઠવવાની હતી પન હજુ એ કાચી હતી અને એને પકવવાની હતી. એક ભાઇએ એની પાસે રહેલી માટીની ઢીંગલીને આગમાં તપાવી અને લાકડાની ઢીંગલીને પાણીમાં પલાળી. અમુક સમય પછી જોયુ તો બંને ઢીંગલીઓ મજબુત બની હતી એક આગમાં તપીને મજબુત બની અને બીજી પાણીમાં પલળીને મજબુત બની.

બીજા ભાઇએ વિચાર્યુ કે મારે ચીલાચાલુ બધા કરે એમ નથી કરવુ મારે તો જુદી રીતે દુનિયાથી જરા હટકે મારી ઢીંગલીઓને મજબુત કરવી છે. એણે માટીની ઢીંગલીને પાણીમાં પલાળી અને લાકડાની ઢીંગલીને આગમાં નાખી થોડા સમય પછી જોયુ તો બંને ઢીંગલી નાશ પામી હતી એક પાણીમાં ઓગળી ગઇ અને બીજી આગમાં બળી ગઇ.

ભગવાને પણ પૃથ્વી પરના દરેક મનુષ્યને ને જુદી જુદી ક્ષમતાઓ આપી છે. પ્રભુ કોઇને માટીની ઢીંગલી બનાવી છે તો કોઇને લાકડાની ઢીંગલી બનાવી છે. તમારુ સંતાન કેવા પ્રકારની ઢીંગલી છે એ માતા-પિતા તરીકે તમારે નક્કી કરવાનું છે. જો તમારી ઢીંગલી કેવી છે એ તમે ઓળખી શકો તો જ એની કારકીર્દીનું યોગ્ય ઘડતર કરી શકો. તમારી ઢીંગલી માટીની હોય અને તમે એને પરાણે પાણીમાં નાંખવાનો પ્રયાસ કરશો તો એ તમારી સૌથી મોટી મૂર્ખામી હશે ઢીંગલી તો બીચારી કંઇ નહી બોલે પણ થોડા સમય પછી ધીમે ધીમે ઓગળી જશે. એક મોટા પુસ્તકથી ન શીખી શકાય એટલુ આ દ્રષ્ટાંત કથા શીખવી જાય છે.

દરેક વાલીને એના સંતાનોની કારકીર્દીની ચિંતા હોય એ સ્વાભાવિક છે એટલે તેઓ સંતાનને ક્યા ક્ષેત્રમાં એડમીશન અપાવવું એની દ્વીધામાં હોય છે. આપણે કેટલાય કહેવાતા શિક્ષણવિદો પાસે માર્ગદર્શન માટે પહોંચી જઇએ છીએ અને આ શિક્ષણવિદો પ્રત્યક્ષ કે પરોક્ષ રીતે પોતાને જ ફાયદો થાય એવી રીતે તમારા સંતાનના આગળના અભ્યાસ માટે સલાહ આપે છે, પછી સંતાન ભલે બીચારુ ઓગળી જાય કે બળી જાય ! બની બેઠેલા વિદ્વાનોની સલાહો લેવાના બદલે તમારા સંતાનના ભવિષ્યનો નિર્ણય તમે પોતે જ કરજો.

સંતાનોની કારકિર્દી માટે તમે જે ક્ષેત્રની પસંદગી કરો તે ક્ષેત્ર જો એને મનગમતુ અને પ્રિય ક્ષેત્ર હોય તો સફળતાના શિખર સુધી પહોંચવાની એમની યાત્રા સરળ તો હશે જ પણ સાથે સાથે આનંદપ્રદ પણ હશે. આમીરખાનની ફિલ્મ  ‘થ્રી ઇડીયટસ’  આ બાબતે ઘણું બધું કહી જાય છે. માત્ર અમુક પ્રકારના ફિલ્ડમાં જ ઉજ્જ્વળ કારકિર્દી છે તે માત્ર આપણી ભ્રમણા છે. દુનિયામાં તમામ ક્ષેત્રનું પોતાનું આગવું મહત્વ છે આ સમાજને જેટલી જરૂર એક સારા ડોકટર કે એન્જીનિયરની છે એટલી જ જરૂર એક સારા કવિ કે લેખકની પણ છે. વ્યક્તિમાં રહેલી શક્તિઓને જો સોળે કળાએ ખીલવવી હોય તો તે માત્ર અને માત્ર તેના પસંદગીના ક્ષેત્રમાં જ શક્ય બની શકે છે. પરાણે પરાણે તમે એને ડોકટર બનાવી દો તો એ પોતે પણ સુખી નહી હોય અને સમાજને પણ કોઇ ફાયદો નહી થાય.

આ દુનિયામાં કીંમત ડીગ્રીની નહી એક્સપર્ટાઇઝની છે. તમારું મૂલ્ય તમારી નિપૂણતા પર નિર્ભર કરે છે. એમ.બી.એ. થયેલો માણસ મહિનાના 10000 નો પગાર પાડતો હોય અને બીજી બાજું 12 ધોરણ સુધી જ ભણેલો મહિનાના 50000 પણ કમાતો હોય કારણ માત્ર એટલું જ કે એક પાસે ડીગ્રી છે પણ એક્સપર્ટાઇઝ નથી અને બીજા પાસે એક્સપર્ટાઇઝ છે માત્ર ડીગ્રી નથી. ગોંડલમાં રહેતો હરેશ ધામેલિયા બે ટ્રાય બાદ માંડ માંડ ગ્રેજ્યુએટ થઇ શક્યો છે પરંતું એણે કમ્પ્યુટર નેટવર્કિંગના પોતાના પસંદગીના ક્ષેત્રમાં એવી માસ્ટરી મેળવી છે કે હાલ લંડનમાં 90 લાખના પેકેજથી કામ કરી રહ્યો છે. ધો. 12 સુધી ગુજરાતી માધ્યમમાં ભણેલા રાજકોટના કૃણાલ પટેલને ગુગલે વાર્ષિક 1 કરોડ 40 લાખના પગારથી નોકરી પર રાખ્યો. કૃણાલ કરતા પણ વધુ ટકા લાવનારા એના સહાધ્યાયીઓ કદાચ આના 10%નું પેકેજ પણ નહી મેળવી શક્યા હોય ! કૃણાલ આ કમાલ એટલા માટે કરી શક્યો કારણકે એ પોતાના મનપસંદ ક્ષેત્રમાં ગયો અને એટલે એની પાસે ડીગ્રીની સાથે સાથે નીપુણતા પણ હતી.

તમારા સંતાનો કેવા પ્રકારની ઢીંગલી છે એ તપાસીને પછી જ એને ક્યા ક્ષેત્રમાં મોકલવો તે નક્કી કરજો.
