પ્રવેશ બાબતે....

દૂર્દશા..

માર્ચ માસથી શહેરોના હોર્ડિંગ્સ ઉપર
“ખાનગી શાળા”ની જાહેરાતોની વસંત ખીલશે.

”હનીમૂન” અને “હનુમાન” શબ્દ વચ્ચેનો ભેદ ન પારખી શકનારા સંચાલકો
જાહેરખબરો માટે નાણાં કોથળી છૂટી મૂકી દેશે.

પ્રોફેશનલ્સ કેમેરામેન્સ પાસે સ્ટુડિયોમાં બાળકોને ગોઠવી 'નાઈસ નાઈસ ઈમેજીસ'  બનાવી છટકાં ગોઠવશે.

જાહેરાતમાં બધું જ લખશે, સિવાય કે
“ફીની વિગત”.

મગજને લીલુંછમ કરી,
હ્રદયને ઉજ્જડ બનાવી દેતી કેટલીક સ્કૂલો છે !

વેદના તો જુઓ,
બાળકની છાતીએ આઈકાર્ડ લટકે છે પણ તેની પોતાની
“ઓળખ” ગુમાવી ચૂક્યો છે.
તે સ્ટુડન્ટ નથી રહ્યો,
રનર બની ગયો છે, રનર.
“લીટલ યુસેન બોલ્ટ” ઓફ એજ્યુકેશન સિસ્ટમ્સ.

15 કી.મી.નું અપડાઉન કરીને થાકી જતાં વડીલો
બાળકને ઘરથી 20 કી.મી. દૂરની શાળામાં ભણવા મોકલે છે !

વળી, પેલા જાહેરાતના બોર્ડ પર પણ ક્યાં લખે છે કે
*'દફતરનું વજન કેટલાં કિલો હશે'* ??

ગુજરાતનો એક સર્વે કહે છે કે,
શહેરમાં છેલ્લાં ૧૦ વર્ષમાં
પ્રતિ બાળક ભણાવવાના ખર્ચમાં ૧૫૦% નો વધારો થયો છે.

દેશના મધ્યમ વર્ગમાં

“નસબંધી” કરતાં “શિક્ષણખર્ચ”નાં કારણે
વસ્તી વધારાનો દર ઘટ્યો છે !!!

ગુજરાતની કહેવાતી ઈન્ટરનેશનલ શાળામાં
'રિબોક'ના 'શૂઝ' 'કમ્પલસરી' છે.
કિંમત માત્ર 3500 રૂ. (આપણી સરકારી શાળાઓમાં દાતાશ્રીએ બાળકોને ચંપલો આપ્યાના ન્યૂઝ ન્યુઝપેપર્સમાં આવે છે !)

નાસ્તામાં રોજ શું લાવવું તેનું 'મેન્યુુ' શાળા નક્કી કરે છે.
અઠવાડિયાના અમુક દિવસ માટે
જુદાં-જુદાં રંગ/ડીઝાઈનના યુનિફોર્મ નક્કી કર્યા છે.

વિદ્યાર્થીઓની પરીક્ષા લઈને જ એડમિશન આપવામાં આવે છે.
('ઈન શોર્ટ' એટલું જ કે “આર્થિક રીતે નબળા” અને
 “માનસિક રીતે નબળા” માટે આ શાળાઓ નથી.)

ખાનગી શાળામાં ભણતા બાળકોની માતાશ્રીઓ બાળકને મળતા હોમવર્કના *"પ્રમાણમાપને આધારે"*

"આજે રસોઈમાં ફલાણી વસ્તુ જ બનશે” એમ જાહેર કરે છે.
લેશન વધારે હોય તો
“એક ડીશ બટાકાપૌંઆ” અને લેશન ઓછું હોય તો
“દાળ-ભાત, શાક, રોટલી અનલિમિટેડ” મળે છે !!

આખા ઘરના *સંચાલનનું કેંદ્રબિંદુ* સ્કૂલ બની ગઈ છે.

એ દિવસ પણ દૂર નથી કે
પ્રાથમિક શિક્ષણની ફી ભરવા માટે
વાલીઓએ પ્રો.ફંડ ઉપાડવા પડશે.
હાલ માત્ર ઉચ્ચ શિક્ષણ માટે લોન આપતી બેંકો
પ્રાથમિક શિક્ષણ માટેની ફી ભરવાય લોનો આપશે.

પેલી જાહેરાતોમાં પાછું લખશે કે
અમારે ફલાણી-ઢીંકણી બેંક સાથે ટાઈ-અપ છે,
લોન પેપર ઉપલબ્ધ છે.
બાળકના દફતર પર લખેલું જોવા મળશે
“ 'ફલાણી'બેંકના સહયોગથી”..

બીજી એક ખોડ છે, તેઓની શિક્ષણ પધ્ધતિ.
એક “છત્રપતિ શિવાજી” નો પાઠ હોય અને બીજો “અમેરિકા ખંડ” નામનો પાઠ હોય.
જે પાઠમાંથી પરીક્ષામાં વધારે ગુણનું પૂછાવાનું હોય તેના આધારે જે-તે પાઠને મહત્ત્વ આપવામાં આવે છે.
“છત્રપતિ શિવાજી”ના કોઈ ગુણ બાળકમાં ન આવે તો ચાલશે,
વાર્ષિક પરીક્ષામાં ગુણ આવવા જોઈએ. 😩😭

ચાલો,
છેલ્લે છેલ્લે
'ઈન્ટરનેશનલ લેવલ'એ  આપણી શિક્ષણની ગરીબાઈ પણ જોઈ લઈએ.

પાંચ-છ આંકડામાં ફી લઈને ઉચ્ચ ક્વોલિટીના શિક્ષણની વાતો કરનાર
ભારતની એક પણ સ્કૂલ આંતરરાષ્ટ્રીય કક્ષાએ પ્રથમ 500માં પણ નથી.

માત્ર 13/14 વર્ષની કાચી ઉંમરે આત્મહત્યા કરતા બાળકો
સમાજને દેખાય છે ?
આ આત્મહત્યા પાછળની તેની વેદના સમજાય છે ?

મારી વાત સાથે કોઈ સંમત થાય કે ન થાય એ અલગ વાત છે પણ હું
“પ્રામાણિક અભણ મજૂર” અને
“અપ્રામાણિક સાક્ષર અધિકારી”
માંથી પ્રથમ વિકલ્પને પસંદ કરીશ.

જો નજરમાં દમ હશે તો થાંભલા અને પેન્સિલ વચ્ચેનો આ તફાવત સમજાઈ જશે.
આ કોઈ નકારાત્મકતા નથી.
ઘણી સારી શાળાઓ છે જ.
આ તો એવી શાળાઓની વાત હતી જે
સરસ્વતી માતાની છબી ઓથે “વ્યાપાર” કરે છે !!!

_*[તેના શિક્ષકોની લાયકાત તથા ચૂકવતા પગારની તો હજુ વાત બાકી છે .. !!]*_

How to treat children

*WAKE UP PARENTS*

 

Years back, *poor illiterate  parents* produced 

🔹Doctors, 

🔹Engineers,

🔹 Scientists,

🔹 Accountants,

🔹 Lawyers,

🔹 Architects,

🔹 Professors..,  whom I will refer to as *Group 'A'*. 

These *Group 'A'* Children struggled on their own after Primary 6 or Grade 12, to become notable personalities. Most of them 

👉trekked to school *barefooted*

👉went to farms

👉fetched water and firewood

👉cared for domesticated animals

👉did some work including trading after school to survive.

Now Group 'A' ,who have now become Parents themselves are *producing  Group 'B'  Children*

These group B children are 

🔹pampered

🔹 helped in their homeworks or home assignments from nursery school through secondary schools to higher institutions.

 🔹chauffeur driven to very expensive schools or are sent abroad to study.  

🔹they can watch movies from morning till dawn after school.

🔹 they are treated like baby kings and queens.

🔹they don't do any household chores. 

🔹Food is put on the table for them, 

🔹their plates are removed and washed by parents or house maids. 

🔹They are given expensive cars and clothes, 

🔹not forgetting *big pocket money to be wasted* !!!.

🔹Their parents help them in doing their assignments.

🤔 In spite of all these, only few can *speak* or *write* correctly. 😏

🤔Group 'A' Parents  cared for their own *parents* and *children*, Group 'B',their Children are still *struggling to find their feet at age 30+*.‼ 

🤔They find it difficult to do things on their own because they are used to being helped to think and doing things by Group 'A'. So they can't help themselves, their parents or the society. THEY ABANDON THEIR PARENTS IN THEIR BID TO ACQUIRE THE WORLD

😴 *Where do you belong*❓

🏮Reduce the pampering and the unnecessary help you offer your children.

🏮 Let your children *grow in wisdom, intelligence and strength*. 

🏮Let them face the truth and the realities of life. Teach them to grow  to become *independent adults.* Teach them to 

👉fear God, 

👉respect  others and

👉develop confidence in themselves.

શિક્ષા જ એવી આપો કે

બધા રાંધતા શીખે
બધા સફાઈ શીખે
બધા નૃત્ય શીખે
બધા ગાતા શીખે
બધા ખેતી શીખે
બધા ખડતલ પણ હોય
બધાને કારીગરી પણ આવડે
જરુર પડે હાથપગ તોડી પણ શકે અને પાટાપીંડી ય કરી શકે

જો આમ કરીશું તો
-પોતાનું કામ જાતે કરવાનું શીખી લેશે
-અન્ન અને પાણીનો બગાડ નહી કરવાનું જાતે શીખી લેશે
-આપ કમાઈથી જીવવાનું જાતે શીખી લેશે

આવડતનો આત્મવિશ્વાસ અને અનુભવનું શાણપણ ધરાવનાર બાળક કદી નિરાશ અને હતાશ નહી થાય.

અંગ્રેજો ને કાઢ્યા હવે  ગુલામોનું ઉત્પાદન કરનારા કારખાના ય કાઢો.

સમય બદલાયો છે પદ્બતિ બદલો.
